Man,I really did cry reading this while listening to space ambient music and knowing that I will never venture to the stars...

this is almost an examination of 2001, the movie/book

Awesome Space stories. Touched most topics regarding space travel, though the ending was kind of meh.
Why would mankind ever stop space travel? No clear justification is given, rather it shows he was getting free resources without fighting any advanced civilisations.

But the plant laser chapter was pretty wild.

People who like sci-fi must read this manga.

FYI, Viz Media released 2001 Nights twice (https://web.archive.org/web/20170422052212/http://www.comicbookdb.com/title.php?ID=1142). First release split the series into 10 volumes, while second release split the series into 3 volume.
