It'll be nice to see Doumeki's plan come crashing around him. As for the President I think he's up to something again. Considering he trusts MC with his granddaughter and knows MC refused a promotion, being headhunted by Global, made the Big Bang plan succeed despite Global's sabotage, and only circumstantial evidence with no proof I'd say he's well aware of the stuff Doumeki had discussed with the MC before the sexual harassment incident and is looking to see how MC handles things. Probably considers it a win win situation either way. If MC turns things around it shows his competence and that might be worthy of Karen's faith. If MC loses then will have excuse to indirectly send MC far away from Karen with it being the company's and MC's fault, not his. Although Doumeki is an idiot thinking he can abuse the workers into doing better than MC. For starters they're already worn out from the Big Bang so won't have much stamina and Sodou is too by the book and inflexible to be able to motivate employees or handle troublesome callers.
