Ok the author is on some major nationalist BS if he really thinks anybody other than Japanese officials saw Japan as the most powerful army in WW2

Characters break through concrete bare hand unscathed, lightsaber fingers, magic kung fu, immense weight loss program in 3 minutes, climb over 50 meters carrying 5 times your body weight under 10 seconds, eugenic practicing Japanese clan of inverted eyeballs, or the fact that world presidents are gathering in a fucking Japanese underground martial art tournament etc.

"JAPAN STRONGEST ARMY IN WORLD WAR??!!!?! HISTORICALLY INACCURATE. WHAT A BLASPHEMY OF A FICTION, FUCKING WEEBS MAN, FUCK THIS AUTHOR"

Even if humans in this manga are capable of a lot more than real life humans, that doesn't change the ridiculousness of the idea that they were the largely considered the most powerful in the word. Russia refused to industrialise and lost to the technological superiority of a rapidly industrialising and militarising Japan, who went on to take a bunch of much smaller islands and a German-owned city in China, who were also underdeveloped at the time. Japan had a bunch of easy wins and went "Yup, we're the best," forgetting the countries that supplied them with military equipment for the Boshin War and gave them a massive headstart in industrialising

The comments are as stupid as a comment can get. I can't believe there are human beings behind those comments, jesus. As a commenter below said, these motherfuckers punch through steel and you focus on the most unimportant detail? "Hurrr Durr Japan strongest army in the world?!? In what universe?!?" lmao. So sad. Like the comic books from their pathetic country don't have nationalism bs as well. Pipe it down you idiots and focus on the more important aspects of the story.

The calling-out-BS commenters here sure have a weird sense of suspension of disbelief in this literature of highly hyperbolic and distorted logic.

Y'all are expecting too much from a musclehead manga. Just like with JJBA, take things unseriously, and just enjoy the bodyslams and the astounding amount of character flashbacks.
