The saddest part is that I have seen enough manga to know that the girl blew all her chances of getting the guy with that kiss. After this there's a 4 out of 5 chances that we will get a kidnapping event, the guy will realize his true feelings, the girl will let him go to be happy and he will then be reunited with her true body and love her ever after.

The other 1 out of 5 says that we either get a turnaround with childhood friend winning or a threesome/harem ending. Honestly before I would have said that Chiko winning would have happened 100% of the time, but latest developments in certain mangas left me realizing that there's still some hope for another kind of ending.
