ugh, i knew this will be comming, but i expect more she beg phoenix to heal that old man *Galoa

Well, the galoa farce was obviously going to end up in a failure given that they were up against our invulnerable and invincible saliphie.

What is more interesting is what our cute egipcian dog anubis is going to do now that galoa has sworn his loyalty and approval to saliphie as the next queen since he was counting on having galoa side with him in preventing saliphie from becoming queen.

ya know, despite all that's happened, all I could think when I got to the last page is, "wow, he is just full on palming her ass right now."

@ chenando1
i think he will laying low for a couple of chapters... poor dog, he's just being overzealous and having a very old-fashioned way of thinking...
i don't see him as a bad guy as he doesn't actually bear any malice and hatred toward saliphie... also his real motivation is very simple, its just because saliphie is a human (go re-read ch.19 for more details)...

@digitalromance77 you might be right but I still don't like Anubis. He is sooooo zealous but the king trusts him so much he doesn't even know the biggest secret of the Royal family (king's second form).

Really love the MC she is one of the strongest MC I've seen, I don't mean it in the OP sense, she is really emotionally strong, since she was a child she always knew she would be sacrificed, her perants never loved her and not once did she try to escape e kill her self.

I don't care about Anubis, that pretencious snob, I always hated the noble archetype characters in manga, he is just the paritiotic type that does whatever he thinks he is right for the nation and at the end gets forgiven, just because.

well, imo, my speculation is... the king may(?) also aware of dog's true nature as it can also serve as a plot twist(?)... the reason why king still having faith with the dog is probably because of his undying loyalty and unyielding determination to the kingdom... we shouldn't forgot that the king himself is half-breed and had to hide the secret that not even the close aide (the dog) know... and i'm pretty sure the situation will turn sour when that dog is finally learn the secret of his king... my speculation is the author will use that plot twist to start making the foundation of the ending... speculation is just speculation, lets just us wait for the story to unfold...

Are we sure that Anubis *doesn't* know about the king's 2nd form (human)? I get the sense that he grew up serving the king, maybe even as a close friend. If he knows that the king has human blood in him, that would be all the more reason to fear a human queen because the future offspring could be more human than demon. This would put the king's secret in even more danger of being found out.

I kind of figured the old man was gonna be whatever his face is called. It seems kind of obvious. Anubis is still annoying in how he is allowed to do all sorts of crap.
