Well, it was shown that Sekibayashi DOES use tactics. Not only is quite clever tactics wise, but his "defence" is based on letting himself being hit while damaging his oponent at the same time. And lets be honest, is one of the manliest characters in all the series and super fun to watch

Prosthetic eyes, it's actually quite dangerous to just have open eye sockets. Not to help him see, but rather because of exposing those soft issues to air let alone fisticuffs can cause serious internal damage.
