Bottom of page 6 is mistranslated: Zenitsu was the one who was financially supporting a woman, who then eloped with someone else, leaving him in debt.
Then 'Jii-chan' saved Zenitsu, or might have just wanted to bring someone up as a swordsman.
(Based off Crunchyroll translations, but it makes more sense than what's written anyway)
