This chapter caused an uproar on comico.jp when it was first released. Typically, there are only a dozen or so user comments per chapter (the current chapter only has 5 after 3 daus), but this chapter generated a whopping 447 comments, the common theme being outrage at Igarashi for giving Subaru a ride on his motorcycle and then going up to her room. Can't says I blame 'em.

I still haven't read more than up to maybe 40 chapters I think. and I just read this to see what's up, aaaand…. this guy is being stupid. First thing, the riding on his motorcycle is acceptable enough. It wasn't the best idea, but ok. But going to her apartment with just the two of them?? that is a no no when in a romantic relationship. Unless you are going to the apartment where your gf lives, then it is okay

I don't think I coulda resisted. She's just lucky that Igarashi's a nice guy and not some closet sex fiend who'd pounce on her as soon as the door was closed.

@WoodyCyber You might think it okay for him to give her a ride, but how do you think Chiyo will react when she finds out? And forget going into another woman's apartment! If Chiyo were to casually go by herself to visit another guy alone in his apartment, say Ookuma, for example, would Igarashi be okay with that? What's good for the goose is good for the gander, right?

@FredFriendly, I did think of how she would react when she does eventually find out. To ellaborate more, I thought that logically it is percieved to be more acceptable by society to give someone a ride like that, than visiting their Apartment With just the two of them. I might be wrong of course, and we all have different opinions on stuff. which is fine btw. Also, since I haven't read anything more, I don't know how they have evolved from the beginning. unless this mc is a beta char, I would say he would not like it at all. and vice versa. They both have made less than good Choices when doing Things, and keeping stuff Secret. what is needed, is some proper conversation between the two. Lastly, I do try to avoid writing long paragraphs on any comment section, therefore it might be difficult to understand my meaning sometimes.

The thing about Chiyo and Igarashi that I just noticed is that they're both so cripplingly moronic in their own respective ways that they're perfect for each other, just think about the their weaknesses and what you dislike the most about them both and then compare your results; it's a harsh lesson that they both need to learn and they both got a mentally damaged person to learn it.
