@kaito or they simply went out of the city, or met another convoy of humans on their travelers that confiscated their car all in the name of keeping them safe of course, would be weird to just kill them off when you can use them as future motivations & or rage fodder, but then they got to be used soon since they had not a role significant enough to leave a long lasting impression.
