his mom is sick, a sickness that came with the dungeons, she is "sleeping" for almost 10 years, just like a lot of other people that got sick as well

And fuck kakaopage, hope they sink cause of what they did to Meraki.

I guess you can put it that way, but to be fair we don’t really know who attacked first in this situation, just that the US hunters got beaten up (at least in the manhwa, but it was implied in the novel that they got knocked out by the intense magic pressure emitted by the man, mistaking it for an attack).

That and being registered hunters most likely belonging to a renowned guild for being able to go into an A rank dungeon, I presume they do have an obligation to investigate the dungeons.

Otherwise, they’ll end up ruining their guild’s reputation for turning back from a raid just because it’s “different” or “weirder” than usual. In this situation, it’s usually more important than their own safety as it may affect the world outside.

In the end, this is all speculation, but I think it’s better to just see it as it is - a bunch of hunters from a top US guild tried to raid an A rank dungeon but was met with an unknown entity that was powerful enough to take them out.

The drawer should have included that with 3 or 4 panels. Would have made quite a difference.
 
Last meraki chapter. They got Cease and Desisted for these series (all from kakaopage): A Returner's Magic Should Be Special, Chronicles of Heavenly Demon, Lawless Zone, Volcanic Age (Mount Hua Reincarnation), Peerless Dad, Raid, Skeleton Soldier Couldn't Protect the Dungeon, Solo Leveling, The Legendary Moonlight Sculptor
 
@Serapheid: That indeed is good news. I wonder if A Returner's Magic Should Be Special and Skeleton Soldier Couldn't Protect Shit will be picked up by some translators, too.

Visit Kakao's website to send an email complaining about the Cease and Desist, asking why they'd do that when they have no plans to translate the work themselves. I and many others already did, it takes 5 minutes.

A C&D order can be a prelude to the announcement of a licensing deal. I have seen this same pattern with many Anime. The original copyright holder sends a C&D out to all groups working on unofficial translations 1-3 months before the official announcement that the IP has been licensed.

I don't know if this is the same thing, but this would be my guess, as the C&D does not make sense otherwise.

I was too lazy to write more but I've wanted to say that he's too weak to be a 20 years older version of the MC.
I don't even dare to imagine how strong such a cheating character will be 20 years later...
