@Garett She is wounded, and the wounds are festering (said at the beginning)

Also: When the sage said that kyril (the mage) wanted for her to be a slave, I was "it's a lie"

Then, I saw the girl next to the mage, p51. (No seriously, WTF is p51, the picture looks nice and pleasant, and then you see the eyes of the girls)

YES! So glad I preemptively followed this after the last translator died in like 2 weeks.

Hopefully the interlude chapter is next + a bit extra.

Also, felt like the chapter was mildly out of order or something. The bit in the middle jumped around a lot.

Hope Goddess chosen her for a reason, so those who abandoned her will get a bad fate. Otherwise, no reason to read another slice of life and gentle MC

so I'm guessing "inversion" affinity is an always active ability that causes all stat upgrades, buffs, debuffs, status effects, etc. to be inverted, so heal would probably harm and poison would heal, paralysis would make you faster, a sword that's supposed to melt your body away would heal all wounds instead, and stat gains when you level up turn to stat losses so all stats = 0 forever (or at least until you get a ton of cursed permanent stat decrementing items, cause inversion)
...fortunately it doesn't seem to effect the stats of equips, only the passive effects they have on you...oh if it's a thing, she should totally learn the "darkness" sword skills like sacrifice that normally take your HP to deal more damage, cause that'd totally heal you AND increase your damage at the same time...well to be fair it might debuff her damage, but even if it did, the ability to recover health every time she attacks would still be very useful in case she ever can't use/loses/purifies the cursed sword she has now, but it'd be more awesome with the OP damage boost and heals

Good start so far. Hopefully that bastard who sold her experiences a horrible death. He's like a worse version of the jerk from Slow Life.

So her party sold her out ? I dont mind her getting revenge, just dont get edgy about it.

I liked the first chapter so far. Wonder if this mummy girl has some significance ? Or if shes just a normy whos broken. Either is fine.

@Ovnidemon wasnt Kyril the hero ?

This novel is more about tryng to continue living while being forever marked as a slave than some edgy revenge.

@Velsy We only know that one guy sold her. He claims the rest of the party consented, but why should we believe him? He could have just gotten rid of her and then made up some excuse to convince the rest of the party not to investigate her disappearance. Also, Revenge is edgy. If you don't want edgy, you aren't fine with revenge.

This is an interesting start. That guy who sold Flamme, I bet he is lying about the team giving an ok for her to be sold there is just no way that's the truth. Having an inversion ability sounds pretty interesting I would like to see how this would play out.
