It's amazing how shitty the translations for this are when even as a reader it's so obvious what the original text was trying to convey. Why make such stiff and robotic translations when it's so obvious how to make them better? "It is also readable in manga and novels about this. A teacher and a student fall in love with each other!" sounds stupid and shitty when "You find this sort of thing in manga all the time, stories about students and teachers falling in love with each other!" sounds a million times better. Unless the translators aren't native/fluent english speakers theres no excuse for this kind of dog shit translation.

I really think it's because the translators aren't native English speakers. I find it a lot with Chibi Manga.
