Well, I'm happy they won't draw out this infatuation arc.

@Elrinion It certainly has the potential to end up that way, but keep in mind this manhua has done a decent job so far of keeping the characters in depth and the situations moderately unpredictable. Xing He's deal with the new ruler of Black Moon is a good example; you very rarely see that kind of measured realpolitik in these series.

If the author continues to demonstrate the competence (s)he has so far, we'll have a resolution or continuation to this that is more nuanced than what we're expecting.
