ok i'm legit confused, they both got whipped, the older brother (mc) wrote poems for the little brother to help him avoid the whipping and even though the MC is the uber genius devil later on it's actually the brother thats the great one?
maybe it just wasn't presented the best...

People think he created the poems, but those are not his own, since they're famous poems that everyone in his former realm knows. The younger brother did not write anything. The older brother doesn't remember why he transferred into the current realm. He's simply gone back in time 500 years into the current realm when he was a child living with his younger brother with their uncle and aunt. The older brother has a test tomorrow, and everyone predicts he'll be a grade A genius, but he says that the younger brother is the real genius, which will probably occur in the future, according to his memories of his past life.

Wow, that was hard to follow. So he, as a child, was intelligent and made poems- so his younger brother was envious of him... except the younger brother has better overall talent? I really can't see where this is going.
