at first evolving was only something a few where capable of doing and even that way humanity was in the bring of extinction, now any fodder can evolve and masters are appearing like nothing, and not to mention that the "zombies" are evolving faster for no reason too.

@zeroxjac I was under the impression that it was just evolving quickly was rare, but anybody still alive after the meteors hit would eventually evolve into the lower levels

I'm probably wrong though.

@Solaz if i remember right (maybe not) all the ones who didnt die when the meteor crashed had a resistance to the virus and had the chance to evolve or go nuts and go full zombie, the problem is that in the first timeline all people seemed to have a hard time to evolve, including the mc, but now people with no relationship to the mc (who knows the secrets to evolution) are getting the info to do so with no explanation at a rate that even random thugs con do it , no to mention that the zombies too are getting power ups way faster according to mc too.

well, turns out my biggest fear regarding this series was baseless...I was seriously afraid this was a monthly series someone was making as a hobby and being caught up was gonna mean a ~60x drop in the release rate, but twice a week is actually pretty good

My impression was in the eyes of the masses an evolve lv 2 is already a master, especially the one at the peak. Ofc compared to MC, who is lv 3, those master is weak in comparison.

@zeroxjac
@Solaz is right. Everyone who didn't immediately turn during the first day had enough resistance. As that resistance grows they start becoming evolved. This was gonna happen to everyone who survived at some point. Some went through it faster than others. MC himself knows a method of speeding up the process and had a head start compared to others.

Gotta remember that the MC was sent back in time into his younger body, and it's possible other people or things got sent back as well, and/or the MC's actions somehow made things worse in a weird butterfly effect. I don't think it's the latter though.

It could be that the MC brought back a more advanced strain of the virus when he was sent back in time, and that's whats causing it to grow faster than before. Or perhaps him simply training himself is in turn training the virus in him too, and he passes that off to others and it in turn travels to the zombies which makes them stronger too

Im pretty sure mc has the breathing/ training method whilst everyone else is just just training by living and fighting and some people are just quicker at evolving but not mc speed
