Three potential harem members in one (and half) chapter?
Author sure work quick here. /jk

@Aten She said Quicklime which sounds like a more potent kind of lime powder. Lime isn't poisonous but its reactive nature means it would bad news if inhaled (or stuck to gills).

I had written the kids off as tragic no names.

@Drifter I only know of quick lime as the basis for roman concrete. but also found this bit thanks to google senei.

Safety. Because of vigorous reaction of quicklime with water, quicklime causes severe irritation when inhaled or placed in contact with moist skin or eyes. Inhalation may cause coughing, sneezing, labored breathing. It may then evolve into burns with perforation of the nasal septum, abdominal pain, nausea and vomiting.

@CraniumAmbiguity The reaction I knew of but not quick lime used in roman concrete. Cool use for a non magical product that could exist in a medieval type world.

The only reason for the kids to be alive, that I can see, is that the amphibians intended to fatten them before eating them, but they somehow managed to escape. Unless they really are carrying a disease the frogs recognised and wanted to avoid at all cost. Well, I suppose it's also possible the amphibians are using them for biological warfare, that is, made them sick and then sent them to this fortress on purpose. However, would frogs be smart enough to do such a thing?

It's either biological warfare or they are changelings and try to get into the castle, by the slim change, that someone might recognize the kids. (Even a slim chance is a change you can take, if it doesn't cost anything anyways.) Any escape (from the situation at the lake/from imprisonment) scenario is just too unlikely. Them being here (or their imposters) means we will see those fishmen again. Because you know, MC needs that nice magical sword.

Many people saying the frogs are using biological warfare, I think so too after reading the comments.

The lolis survived? Looks like the amphibians don't have the best digestion.

Somehow the physics are a bit wonky in this chapter. She attacked him full force, Bobby intercepted her assault and barely stopped the attack before it pierced through his eye and she still has the guts to say, that she almost coulnd't stop herself? If she stopped herself, Bobby wouldn't have been needed.to stop her attack that close. It either doesn't add up or I'm overlooking some things.

Alright, as we can see once more, our MC's divine skill gifted to him by Bappe is useless, yay :D But even better, it's also detectable! I mean, Luzzeffle was never able to sense it, neither was anyone else, but it apparently still can be detected, and as such now definitely entirely useless ^^
