Anyone else expecting demons and getting really confused?
Since everything they've been doing was training how to fight, I was expecting fights in the shadow world.
Now it's cooking?
Either this is a special shadow world, in which case Desir unexpectedly didn't actually know what would await them, or their training was a bit too focused on battle.
At least the history lessons make sense now, since with non-combat quests, all other knowledge and skills can become important. Why only history though? That still puzzles me.

He did not get that item in this shadow world. As far as I remember from the novel (or maybe it was mentioned in manhwa too), some other person got it from that world. But later that person died, and Desir received the item. Now he wants to acquire it earlier due to 4-man team he has this time.

Shadow Worlds remind me of Kingdom Hearts. Instead of finding a single keyhole in a world, you're trying to divert whatever calamity is going to happen to that world. That must really suck for villains. Say you hide your tracks and successfully destroy a kingdom. A few hundred years later, some students get to experience that time period all over again and uncover everything you did.

Just thought I'd add a couple of corrections here for you to do what you want with :)
"The successful completion of this quest will play a vital role in influencing the preceding quests that are to come"
Here, "preceding" is in opposition with "that are to come". If they are to come, they can't also be preceding. Just pick one and remove the other
"Above and beyond the expectation"
"the" is unneeded here. The text should be "above and beyond expectations".
"you will need to guide him using your knowledge of the maesil"
I would say "the" is a bit clumsy here as well, you can remove it. (He's talking about maesil in general, not these specific ones)
"If you are able to satisfied the estemeed guests"
"satisfied" should be "satisfy"
