@ShimizuA The Daoists are translated as "Ascetic Team" in this chapter, it seems. It's the one that used "Earth - Fireclad" (surrounds fists with fire) and comboed it with "Sky - Force Impact" (well, an impact with force behind it, I guess). Who knows, maybe the name of the magic school changed over 30 years and our protagonist just doesn't know yet.

I feel that when I read in light novel form there wasn't that much focus on the other people presentations...here it seems like obvious filler to me, like yes it was long but at the same time short...seriously editor-san be a bit more conscious and subtle when you clearly want to prolong a certain part...even more so when your manga is supposed to be what? monthly? this type of filler is counterintuitive...You could've covered all those types in two pages instead that many...
