@Vincentius Its at that point you have to consider why some impatient/short tempered kid is given the hero class. Why waste his time fighting someone for their measly gear which isn't suited to their occupation? Unless of course they were planning to replace their baggage carrier/scout with another baggage carrier.
 
Man this author is just as good as shield hero author. 🤣 Look at all those angry people.

There's also this manga in terms of priest/goblin senario. So 2 for 2, for now.

But yes, the scout is super important and to be scoffed at is kind of very large flag for the hero party. And now that they have to carry the baggage the fucking bear had to haul, it'll only weigh them down. Another flag.

I'm already placing hard money on their wipe. With a little on gobs in hope that they lose to goblins like chumps.
 
i hope he will meet them and then they will see that he is better than the hero party or he should only rape the girls ( i mean i can bet the girls have a crush for the hero and they will do all for him)
 
tbh if the tamer is in Iow Iv it's the party's mistake to not grind him high enough
 
hopefully the kid will grow some balls from now on cuz it would be really dissapointing if he got real strong now and then the "heroes" come saying shit like he lied to them, or they lost a party member cuz he wasnt there or shit like that and try to claim his stuff cuz he was part of the group...calling it already bet its gonna happen.
 
How useful a scout is aside, the only actual problem I have with the Hero's party is their attitude; why are there so many asshole Hero parties, rather ones with common sense?
Instead of having fun throwing shit at someone, why not just have characters that do not feel like they need to be malicious little shits? It doesn't even promote the MC to do anything special, since this is no revenge-porn and his success doesn't tie together with their achievements.

It doesn't even feel like this story wants to have the MC "show them how good he is". The Hero's party are full of little shits, and there's no meaning to it.
I feel like so many Jap authors just have no idea how to write disagreeable characters, without going full Chinese and making them evil scumbags.
 
Unless you have "inventory", a person who can carry any luggage load for your journey is as precious as the healer or a tank. There's a reason why the 1st mod people call for in any game that has carry weight is a "weightless" mod.

TBH I'd probably be pissed if I'm putting my life on the line every battle and some guy's just sitting in the back playing with his pets.

And in the same chapter we see the guy's capable of defending himself pretty well! Maybe he was just too lazy to swing a sword in the party. Or maybe the party's fighting enemies that are just that powerful that the tamer can't defend himself.

And we're not sure how powerful the "animal tamer" class is - it depends entirely on what counts as an animal. Sometimes magical beasts are, sometimes they're not, depends on the setting. Whatever the limit, the party would have to go out of their way to help him tame strong beasts. And his attitude of just lazing around during fights not even protecting himself probably wouldn't make them want to help him.

There are ways the animals could be useful but let's be honest, a mage or priest could normally just use a spell for the same purpose.
 
@werewolf914 obviously the next time we see the hero party its gonna be one of those things where suddenly they have a bunch of issues and realize how important he is.
But if im being completely honest i kinda want a story where the mc does hold them back and later on in the story we hear about the hero party defeating the demon king or something meanwhile the mc is content with his life outside of it.

you do not know anything about this universe and you talk as if they had a viable solution
it is not a stupid MMORPG with inventory that allows to carry the equivalent of 100 kilos to lvl1
sometimes the authors try to put some realism in their world, even within the limits of magic

it annoys me to see the level of logic of the authors.
He happens to have worlds with guilds of adventurers who offers quests written on paper to people who have no education system and his on paper, a piece of paper probably has the value of herbs that the person will collect
so a little logic does not hurt and have a person who carries the equipment, the food, cook, ... in short have logistics do no harm
 
i feel like we'll very soon see the hero party collapse on itself because they took too much of what mc did for granted and are incapable of doing those things themselves
