So the brother was already a douche back then. Quite sad backstory but i think it was the mentality at this time ( Did we know exactly when it take place ?) and yes the dream is over, the minister is dead and she was not here for that so it's pretty bad but i don't really think it matter at all anyway since the son want her dead.

@Yurisivel, well we know for the start that the story doesn't really end quite well since Shim is supossely sacrified at the end of the legend. At the moment the raws go to 80 and for what i have look

it's most likely end at 80 because it seem to me that the chapter after is the epilogue

. But i do also hope for a good end or a least an end where they're together.

I happened to read 3 series (including this one) that talks about men's privileged and how horribly women were treated in the past. Really made me appreciate the modern time (not saying that sexism still isn't happening but things are definitely better now)...

I really love the more reflective approach to how women were treated historically, this coupled with the chapters about the house's previous wife are crushing in the best way possible lol
