Not gonna lie, I kinda like how the author tries to cram in as many weirdos as possible at times. I also like how some otherwise one-off characters reappear here. By now, I can safely say that I read this manga for Komi-san first and all other weirdos second. That's also why I'm not bothered that there are relatively few KomiXTadano chapters now. Frankly, if it focused mainly on it, it'd get boring.

And Ohai Shuki is still a very relatable character.

Knowing Oda, I’m guessing that there will eventually be a chapter which reveals Baba Kingyo’s exquisitely sensitive inner world, and how it’s his fear of being left out because he’s not enthusiastic enough that causes him to reflexively blurt out “Daz Right!” at any perceived cue.

Then he will be a fan favorite and people will pair him with Katai, as Katai doesn’t speak very often and thus doesn’t trigger Kingyo’s tic.
