@Retard_@meho7 Does it mean you could get something like this? https://imgur.com/t4UfZlX
What I dislike about mangadex is that all updates fall beneath each other. If you get two updates of one manga.. and another manga updates inbetween you get something like
That's the one reason I use Kissmanga. If two updates has been made for two mangas, then only the two mangas will light up with a "Not Read". You then read the manga and then tag the manga as "read". This way I don't have to remember which was the last manga I read, since the system will remember it for me last time I clicked "Read". If you are able to customize MangaDex's system to replicate this system. Please tell me how, because if I am able, then I will tell everyone I know to come here instead of KissManga. Granted, at best I could probably bring about a hundred members over here by simply tagging MangaDex in my little writing community.
@MiniMage yes and better, follow the mangas or just transfer the followed list here by using: http://mdbookmarkimport.rn86.net/
once you follow the manga, it'll track any new chapters after the latest you've read in the follows tab :) also it saves that last few read chapters so you can go back in case you forgot and so many amazing features
@Retard_ That example you showed me had the thing I dislike severely though. "Karate Shoukoushi Monogatari" for example is present more than once. I don't really want to see updates of the same manga stacked ontop of each other. I want to have the updates categorized by manga. If I click the manga, then that's fine, because then you have only that manga stacked ontop of itself. The only information I desire is if there's unread chapters. If there is, then the manga should glow with "Unread". If there isn't any. It should simply show "Read" That's why I like KissManga, because it does it like that. What you linked me seems to only import the bookmarks, not its means of managing the information. (As far as I am aware, anyhow.)
I think i Know what you mean but I'm not sure so try it
Go to Follow then Manga then on the right side change the layout to Simple List
It does not have the Read Icon but you can tell what was updated by the "Sorting option" and the "Time" Also if you don't want Other language Updates you can set a specific language in the Settings "Filter chapter languages:" that way it will only update the list when the correct language update is posted.
Also I highly recommend to go true the advanced setting as there is a lot to that can be changed the default setup may not always be the best for everyone.
Or You can also use the "Latest update Tab" that is listed by chapters that has the Read Icon in the list.
Whit "Filter chapter languages:" set to ENG so it wont show stuff you don't need
ahh and also Kiss does not have a Hentai section needs to be enabled in the settings
@Garo64 That still doesn't allow me to change how the chapters are structured. There's no categories, only lists that overlap. If there's ten chapters released of one manga and two of one I've really prioritized, then on MangaDex, I would have to scroll through the released chapters to read what I want to read. Instead of just having a "unread" icon show up to two mangas. Until such a feature pops up in settings, or I can find a way to structure it as such, I'll still primarily use Kissmanga. Now Imagine that you've added 40 mangas. On MangaDex it becomes a nightmare. Not only need you scroll through shitloads of lists, you would have to remember yourself what you've read and not read.
If I was able to replicate KissManga's layout back here 1 to 1, I would move here. Currently I tend to read chapters at KissManga and once I'm done, I'd delete them from the KissManga list and add it here as completed on MangaDex. Because the update feature is so messy here, I basically use this site as a kind of archiving setup. If structuring like KissManga was possible, again, I would use this site exclusively.
