Not only that his reasoning from the last chapter where he said "I don't care about anyone except for my village, the old man who trained me Cordelia and Lilith" is also a bad excuse. If everyone else in the world dies, then there's no way your village can survive alone. Especially if the Hero is too weak to face whatever threat destroyed the rest of the world. He already explained that even with his new title and his cheat, his maximum potential isn't as high as a hero, so stop getting in her way.
