I will always read at mangadex! Thanks so much for your hard work!

So happy to see 2 chapters today. Really grateful for not leaving us with the small cliffs * 7 *

Little Yuan Yuan is scary but this is so cuteee
Jelly Yuan Yuan and his master

Thank you for your hard work

Foolish ML, her obsession is you! After dying (twice I think) at your hands, of course she'd be obsessed with you! 😂

I think she's reached the Dao. After all, she already had a previous cultivation life.

Just wanted to say, that she's definitely cute, but definitely not a good person.
Just because the previous head of an entire clan was crooked, she took it upon herself to figuratively unroot the entire family's fortune and tradition, effectively ruining the clan and destroying the lives of hundreds and thousands of people.

Chinese stories at their peak, huh. Trying to sell the MC as righteous / cute / correct, while they're hardly any better than anyone else.
Reminds me of the focal point of "My Disciple Died Yet Again". A good parody novel.
EDIT: Given the next chapter, she is definitely not treated by other characters as "a righteous person", but, TLDR -- ya'll can understand that she is being sold off as "a cute floofy girly", not as a douchebag that she "low-key" lets off.

@Solipsist

She's a villain, isn't she? It was stated from the very start of the manhua, afaik.

Actually, the plot is so simple and generic. The MC will act villain-ish (since she reincarnated in a villain character but not only in flesh but also in morals) while trying to manipulate the ML to get her some treasure and ultimately avoiding the death flag. It's childish and light, but it is what it is. Some people (like me) enjoy reading shallow and fun stories like this every now and then.

And if you read enough Manhua's, her type of character is very common. Females are cute and pretty but has rotten personalities while the male leads are drop dead gorgeous and have all the good qualities a mortal soul can ask for.

@kenvdiaz725
Yes, she's a villain. I was verbosely trying to say that my initial impression was that "for the longest time, she didn't feel like a villain, and now it feels weird that she acts like one".
I am a bit sleep deprived, so I can't do anything if that sentence ends up looking broken.

@Solopsist, obviously @kenvdiaz725 has a point, and personally I'm enjoying the story, but you're not wrong either. That's why I don't tend to read too much manhua; the art is often fantastic but the story can be choppy and the MC always seems to be absolute scum, yet we're supposed to like them and they're supposed to be the good guy.

At least so far I'd say it works well in this story and I haven't seen that choppiness I mentioned much, but a lot of the time I find it really irritating in manhua when the MC always seems invincible and to know what's going on and never really despair or lose their composure, and they act like self centered assholes but everyone around them worships the ground they walk on except for the one dimensional bad guys who hate them because they're too perfect or just because they're supposed to since they're bad guys.

Also it would be nice with this story if the male lead over time helps change the MC to be an actually better person. If nothing else she's at least doing good things even if it is out of self interest, so I guess that's a start. Even if that doesn't happen, I don't hate her as she is now; if nothing else she's entertaining.
