Aaaah yes, the ship sailed and next chapter is finally from Kuzumi's perspective? I must be dreaming~
@givemersspls I see your point, and this is probably gonna be addressed in another chapter, but the author was probably poking fun at the typical "We can't date 'cause I'm going far far away" romance trope, and I think that for someone with Yukko's personality having someone to help her being honest with herself and not run away is for the best (... or not, we'll have to see I guess haha).
@givemersspls Hmm, I usually see both, probably, and in any case it's usually much more dragged on... It's true that playing the "Love conquers all" concept straight often feels too naive and unrealistic, but that usually only happens in oneshots or average shoujo stories. I feel like most of the time they justify the situation in a way or another: the person decides not to leave, or the relationship doesn't work out and they break up or reunite, or there is some conflict anyway, which is what I'm expecting in this case as well.
@givemersspls isnt missing out experiencing love because "you will move out X time in the future" just as bad though? He loves her, she loves him, they are young... so they should just experience it like young ppl should, for however long time they can.
Leave reasoning and being dishonest with oneself to adults imo.
I dont see this as a love conquers all situation, i see this as a carpe diem one.
