if futaro is the genius he claims and is told to be he will connect the dots on how mysteriously itsuki disappeared and rena appeared making him realize who rena is, but because of plot he wont do so and will still keep wondering who rena is. although he just said he doesnt care who rena is if he is a bit smart at least he may find itsuki´s insistency on him a bit suspicious as if he had told her something and maybe suspect itsuki is rena. but lets face it. he wont do such things because he is as dense as lead when it comes to romance and stuff

@chenando1 It's not only that but Rena's first appearance came a bit after he talked about her to Itsuki, so both of the times he's run into her very clearly tie into times when Itsuki is by far the prime suspect. Given how this time Rena referenced the previous meeting, it's clearly the same girl.

I'll at least give him credit in that after the recent trip of trying to find the fake Itsuki he's probably gotten sick and tired of trying to find out who is who and checking out alibis and marks and all, so if he's of the opinion of, "Bitch if you want to talk to me, you've got to make clear which one you are" I can't exactly fault him.

And as you can see itsuki started to go aggressive instead of rena bait strategy. Due to MC revealing he is popular and so lead him into say who you are or i will go with nino or something like that.
