So now we have the quints perspective all at once, they did that hand thing once again, and Itsuki thanking her sisters and their reactions were great and damn all of them left in a different direction
And lmao that credit page is accurate, I too bet on the next chapter being from fuutarou's side
Fuutarou's perspective is the only one that actually matters.
Hell, this whole arc should've been from his perspective so we could know what he feels about the girls.
Right now he's just a dense, indecisive romcom MC that could just as well roll the dice to pick the girl.
@rokkiy
The art is trash with wonky proportions and sloppy lines. Especially compared to early chapter.
After Fuutarou's perspective, we'll still need Fuutarou's dad's side, and then Raiha's side, and of course the quints' biological and step-dad's side of the festival. And then afterwards, we'll be back to slice-of-life and studying as though the festival never happened.
Next week's chapter will end with Fuutarou standing before a door that won't tell us which room is it at all, perhaps even with him calling out: "Nakano-san?", just to annoy us. Thought, I can't say that the whole build up isn't making the whole thing more exciting.
Also would be funny if he accidently went into a wrong room and had to ask where the girl he chose(Miku) is. Or if he just decided that he is too tired already and went home without meeting them.
@Sibl he said so,butI think we are supposed to believe that something happened that will make him change his mind. It's the only thing that would give a little sense to this awful arc.
I feel a little apathetic about this chapter. I can see that it's objectively a good chapter and taking the quints relationship into the focus is good, but I'm getting to the point where all the quints feel like stronger characters than the MC and I'm asking myself why all this needs to conclude in a romance with him again. Somehow all this feels more like each sister growing as a person, but not as a set-up to get them together with the MC. I'd prefer if all of them stayed independent at this point. Would feel like a more mature conclusion at this point.
