You don't have to be on ever single chapter released by LHTranslations just tell them how shitty they are, once enough. But since you're on every chapter release I'm starting to think you have a personal problem with them. Most people would just block this translation group and wait for the /a/nons translation release instead of bashing every chapter LHTranslation release. It's simple just ignore and wait for /a/nons translation and you will be happy.

She already knew who Kintarou was somewhere around the middle of the arc. She knew Fuutaro was Kintarou when she found out that Fuu was wearing the bracelet he gave to Kintarou before she called Fuu to meet in a coffee shop.

@Teasday Well, I am not a english major that is for sure haha but I think they are still readable and a lot of people doesnt have problems with their translations, yes, they need a native proofreader, but I never said something like "their translations are amazing people should like them more" no, my problem is that people exaggerates about it too much and attack them all the time instead of talking about the chapter, if you know you dont like this group's translations then just wait a couple hours and read /a/ version without coming here to talk bad about the group you dont like, I am saying something so unreasonable?

@stilgar Sadly a better translation is out there, that means you are not forced to read this one, why are you here then? really? why? if you know you are not going to like it then why you keep coming back? just to talk bad about them? that is not normal behavior and you shouldnt think it is. Complaining is not bad, but if you do it without a good reason is just stupid and weird, really, probably I would understand you if this was the only translation available, but it is not, you shouldnt be here

I agree that for the most part it's readable but that's a very low hurdle to jump. I'm not an English major either, it's not even my native language, but if you accept "readable" as the standard you're just dragging down the entire scanlation scene into the mud with you. Why should groups bother making quality releases if nobody gives a fuck? If translation quality is irrelevant, why spend effort on cleaning or typesetting either? I know this is a bit of a slippery slope argument, but we've already seen it happen on a small scale.

People complain because these things don't just happen in a vacuum. When low-effort groups pick up a manga and crank out a "readable" translation, more often than not it means no other better group will bother. You can argue that "well at least they're translating it" and that's valid, but if nobody speaks up about the quality of the group's releases, why would they have any motivation to improve in general? After all, 5toubun is far from the only series LHT is doing, but it is a prime example of what LHT is doing wrong. You can directly see what a difference of 5 measly hours could make, week after week.

I definitely agree that a decent native proofreader/editor or two is exactly what they need. The translator isn't the problem here, what's missing is someone correcting the translation to proper English.

@Teasday No no no, please dont minsunderstand me, I agree 100% with you, they obviously should try harder, I also think is very bad that they are not even defending themselves and I dont like how it seems they are not even looking for proofreaders

But that is not why I started to discuss with people here, if LHT is good or not was never my point, I was just trying to tell them there is no reason to be every chapter saying you hate them, that is not normal, I would understand why they have that necessity to come here to talk bad about this translation if it was completely unreadable and the only one available, but it is not, so why they keep coming back? they know they dont like it, that is just a bad obsession and I can't agree with it

No, its not bad if there is a better translation, that is actually good :)

Actively looking for something you know you dont like (every time) just to complain about it, that is not good and it is really sad
