Well, obviously, since it's Fuutarou's dad that nailed him this job. Now, why did Papa Nakano retreated at the first sight of Fuutarou's dad is a mystery (but it seems like they didn't have any contact since when Fuutarou was officially fired, so maybe there is something else?).
Uhh, that's what i said, no? That tidbit in Chapter 32 doesn't really establish anything that happens in the present time, though. The only thing that could be important is that Fuutarou's dad called Papa Nakano "Sensei", but that's still kinda vague. My money? They both know each other and that is how he managed to get his son a job as a tutor. Whether they are former friends, classmates or whatnot... I dunno. But I'm guessing with as much of stubborn ass that Father Nakano can be and how free-spirited Fuutarou's dad seems, it probably did NOT end well.
You didn't mention anything about them having a previous relationship...Uhh, that's what i said, no?
Think about it. Doesn't the tone and what he says sound more like people that know each other pretty well instead of two fathers, one of them being so distant he's barely even in his own (step)daughter's lives, let alone mingling with the in-laws? I mean what Fuutarou's dad says is basically the generic Japanese manga/anime motivation lines that a friend says to another, really. That tidbit in Chapter 32 doesn't really establish anything that happens in the present time, though.
Sensei is a general thing that ties in with Japanese honorifics and doesn't actually denote any occupation (like a teacher as one might expect), necessarily. Hence why authors, mangakas, ect. are all referred to as "-sensei" in the industry. And often Doctors are referred to as "-sensei" and we know that the quintuplets' father does work in a high level position in a hospital.called Papa Nakano "Sensei", but that's still kinda vague.
Umm, ultraleaf said "those two have met before(the parents)", and i responded "Well, obviously". I think that counts. You didn't mention anything about them having a previous relationship...
Yeah, they are pretty friendly in the flash-forward. But, considering it happens in the future and the fact that Fuutarou's dad was his usual laidback self and Papa Nakano was his usual distant self, it doesn't automatically follow that they knew each other long before the events of the manga. That said, it's not that i think that wasn't the case nor would i be surprised if they actually go way back together.Think about it. And that's why i said it was "vague". Though, it kinda slipped my mind that he indeed worked in a hospital, so that makes sense, and doesn't really explain much about their relationship.Sensei is a general thing that ties in with Japanese honorifics...
