5Toubun no Hanayome - Vol. 9 Ch. 75 - The Five Cranes Show their Gratitude

Best girl Ichika snekking like there's no tomorrow

@HalAnime at the same time, she's having some regrets, perhaps because she's not a child anymore, that "mature attitude" she had eventually became something more than a mask

@Nakanowatari You're not the only one having that impression and we're all afraid of the "cover girl wins" cliché so let's hope that's not the case.
I don't think I could like that ship even if Negi spent 10 chapters on her character development.

I wouldn't say that Itsuki sneaked in while the others were busy: she seems to be the one to have left the five cranes, which means that the other sisters told her to do so.

And I sure lol'd when Ichika went all "Ah yeah right, Nino's brakes are completely broken! OAO"

Itsuki staying like she's been up til this point would be the best inversion of the 1st girl trope Negi could go for - Have her never turn into a love interest and always be this kinda girl-buddy type. I do like her, but I can't see her actually joining the war any time soon and that's completely fine.

Well, I don't understand why so many hate toward Ichika.
It just...Ichika started to learn to be more honest with herself and trying to catch up with Nino and Miku. All this time, she's been holding back for the sake of her sisters. Suppressing so many things inside her and acting like a proper older sister.

But now, she also wants Fuutarou to look at her more, by any possible means.
After all, nothing is fair in the "war", isn't it? lol

I personally feel it's a bit too late for Negi to try to develop a romantic relationship with Itsuki which feels satisfatory. I mean, she had a pretty neutral reaction towards Miku's "I love Fuutarou" just a few chapters ago, it would feel quite weird to pull a "Itsuki's been in the bowl this whole time".

@8lacKy
Aye! Itsuki was always pretty interesting to me: she has very deep and warm relationship with Fuutarou, and her love is strong... but that love always seems platonic rather than romantic. She and Yotsuba are the two girls that feel like Fuutarou's sisters rather than potential lovers. Even when Miku got angry that Itsuki might be trying to raise flags, Itsuki was all "Calm your tits Miku, I'm not trying to bang him." And before that, she seemed pretty excited that Miku is in love, rather than jealous or insecure (which also makes it very unlikely that she tried to kiss Fuutarou by that bell, and we know that the kisser is the Bride).

Seeing as the author wants to make this an honest mystery, it actually makes sense to make the Poster Girl the subject of platonic love: she might be in the race, she might not, and if not she still has a noteworthy role in the story.

It's time for Itsuki to shine.Damn, I'm love with adult Itsuki now. She's like princess on the front page. Yikes Snek in the last page, Nino rules tho.

Ichika—-starting from the top now she’s at the bottom.

I won't be surprised if itsuki ended up being fuutarou's bride. But hey, this manga has a harem tag so it's still possible to have all of them as brides, right?

And thats why itsuki gonna win the war. While the others quintuplet self-destruct each other, she's there with him

yotsuba played guilty play, sly of her.. she currently know everyone secret. pushed ALL nino, miku and ichika to attack mode. at the same time, plant suggestion to fuutarou she is doing evrything for fuutarou own well being. and triggered when fuutarou missed it. and now plant that suggestion to people around him.
you can't stop convince mr she is playing string behind the scene.

and itsuki being herself, show the most care and respect for fuutarou without ulterior motive. but that because she isn't admit her self she fallen for fuutarou, YET!
