I am so intrigued and lost at the same time. I understand the male MC good enough i.e. wanted to die due to his reputation being ruined, robs a rich lady, goes on a journey with her, slowly falls in love, jealous of her husband and wants to make her his own, and finally, he no longer wishes to die alone, rather, he wants to live with her. What I don't understand is the female MC - what does she get out of this? Is this really a one-time thing in which after they eat crab, she expects the male MC to commit suicide while she goes back to her house? What's her goal?

@darknesspker She made an impulsive decision, so I doubt she has any real plan. It's the age-old tale of a lonely housewife wanting some excitement in her life.
The only question is now, if she can see the MC as anything else than a replacement for her husband.

@triano - I suppose so. The reason of why I’m so confused is that she seems to be completely over her husband or very close to it. She even threw away the engagement ring and would rather have our male MC hold her instead. That’s why I’m so confused as to what her goal is. At the end of their journey will she say that she wants to die with him, with him finally saying that he wants to live with her instead, thus, she divorces and our MC gets a happier ending?

@darknesspker From my perspective it looks like this chapter is the starting point of her forgetting about her husband and being drawn to the MC, due to her realizing that her husband wasn't there for her while she was sick but the MC was. Romance mangas like this, with a somewhat darker atmosphere, have a good chance of ending with the two main characters not staying together. Heck, for me it would already be a happy end if the MC gets his life somewhat back together.
But then again, what would be the female lead's ending? Being able to rekindle her relationship with her absent husband after she went on a cuck-tour? Yeah unlikely, maybe the MC and her will end up together, or this will have a tragic end after all, who knows.
