Those drums of impending doom are getting closer and closer...
No flashbacks this chapter, but more drinking... Igarashi is being an moron for someone who is drinking for the first time. Igarashi doesn't have any good friends at all. His usual "buddies" are bad enough, but this one senpai is a hell of a creep. Texting Subaru on Igarashi's phone while he's in the bathroom with Kitamoto is definitely not going to end up well.

As much as I like Subaru, I'm not a fan of a guy or a girl making a play for someone who they know already has a significant other, and it doesn't seem that Subaru just wants to be Igarashi's friend. The question is, will she take advantage of him while he's drunk?!

@FredFriendly I predicted this 10 chapters ago,

and that guy spiked Kitamoto's drink as well, he is like the evil version of that Tan Guy, either way now we just need to see if Okumma will make a return as well during these circumstances.

and when Chiyo finds out about this, she will get unreasonably mad... AGAIN....as per usual.. *sigh*, why am I even still here for?? @FredFriendly, I kinda hope she will try and go for him, because then Chiyo will have a taste of what she did to Igarashi. I mean, If Subaru going for Igarashi will make Chiyo understand/realise just a little about how she herself is a biatch, it will be fine.

FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF! There is the arc i knew was coming, but didnt want to read it F! And, btw, thats why senpais should all be killed -. -

@darara, NO, I do not tbh. It's just that it would be nice if she did, but again, no she won't. If she get a taste of her own medicine(is this the right word?), then logically by adding 2+2 together she should get it it. but I will be happy if she just get's that taste, you know :)

@Comrade-Sandvich
I predicted this 10 chapters ago,
I've been waiting for something serious to happen between Igarashi and Subaru since she appeared in a single panel while he was singing at the festival back in chapter 69 (even though she still had a boyfriend at the time)...

@WoodyCyber

I won't post any spoilers except to say that I'd change that from "unreasonably mad" to "understandably mad"...

It's tough to give up on an ongoing series that you've been reading for over four years. There's that one series that just ended that started about the same time as Koi Inu (the one with 953 "chapters") that, had I known how it would end, I would never have started reading it in the first place. Let's hope that, when Koi Inu has come to an end, we all don't regret wasting our time.

But she wont get it. Not because it's a really complicated situation or something, but because the author thinks Chiyo is a good girl. Trying to sell her as a Mary Sue when in reality she is just a retarded bitch.

Btw this situation is really disadvantageous for Igarashi. He is drunk and he is with a girl, and they used his phone to ask her out. So it comes down to what Chiyo will believe in the end. I guess she will throw a tantrum and that's all, but this time I cant really blame her, Igarashi really got fucked up by his "friends".
But who cares, I don't really ship them, so lets hope for a breakup. I just want to see her suffer. But of course she wont, because of the authors favoritism.

At least the comments will be good, as always.

@FredFriendly, I get the "understandably mad" thing. Maybe I should have phrased it differently. Anyway, by how Chiyo have acted with okuma, she has nothing to say if Subaru is gunning for Igarashi and him keeping it a secret from her. btw, are you possibly talking about Tomo-chan at the end there? because that ending was stupid, and made reading it a waste of time. Which makes me wonder, was that one axed?

Well, yeah, I completely agree since it's been my beef with Chiyo since forever that she's keeping secrets from Igarashi but expects him to be open and honest with her.

And yes, but, as far as I know, it wasn't axed, just incredibly idiotic writing by the author. Almost makes me wanna only read "romance" series that have already ended so I won't be disappointed. It shouldn't even be categorized as "romance" since there wasn't any, unless you consider one panel out of countless thousands qualifying as romantic. At least with Koi Inu there have been plenty of romantic moment throughout the series.

Well, everything about Tomo-chan was something you could expect from a shounen romance.
My problem is that none of the side characters got a proper ending, and ofc the most annoying thing for me is that Jun's character got totally butchered after he realized he is in love. The author turned him into a retard.
But yeah, it't not really a romance, it is more of a comedy, although it is weak in every aspect. Honestly, I might be a little biased, cuz I really hate 4-koma stuff.

Aww $#|+ here we go again. I get the feeling we’re never going to get a moment in time when Chiyo and Igarashi will have a hear to heart conversation. That way both could express their true feelings and clear up the misunderstanding.

Oh well let’s see where this goes

tomochan is the garfield of 4komas

that said carol was the highlight of the series and she got a better romantic arc than tomo did

it ending like it did honestly felt more like the author was sick of the series and wanted to just end it and move on rather than anything else

Once again terrible writing by the author to villainize Igarashi and make us feel sorry for Chiyo for having such a terrible boyfriend. Oops, got ahead of myself but it's coming.

I wouldn't be surprised if someone snapped a photo of them possibly leaving together, Chiyo getting her hands on it, and then immediately calling it cheating without hearing Igarashi's side. Not to mention his and Chiyo's friends won't even support nor corroborate his side, and immediately villainize him, and leading to him having to do something drastic and/or beg, arm and leg, for Chiyos forgiveness for a non existing problem that could just be solved through honesty and patience.

Holy shit, even writing that out it felt so bad yet fitting to Koi inu, i think Coco should stick to drawing and let someone else author, i shouldn't have the writing capabilities to produce a Koi Inu arc in the comments.
