Still, I will see how the story play out their relationship/dynamics, because as much as I know it's just fictional, I have a hard time accepting love that transforms from maternal love to romantic love. So if.. says she cares for him a lot, and he kinda thinks of her as his mom, sister, or family, but when he grows up, he thinks of her as a "woman" to love then this is definitely not for me... Kinda like Usagi drops, I suppose?

@Vasqueztion dunno, unless it's not actually a romance, but a tragedy. If you judge the genre wrong, naturally the assumed character roles will be wrong. From the look of it, Deigo didn't exactly take it lying down. You don't get the guillotine for proposing. Hopefully, she can soothe his heart to the point he doesn't go off the deep end.

But thanks for the info! I should have clarified my problem wasn't really his age but how his relationship with our MC aka his maid would start, because I'm not very fond of love story where the characters start out with family love then change to romantic love (like Usagi drop)

As long as he doesn't think of the MC as his mother or sister etc before seeing her as a woman and fall in love with her, I'm ok ^^.
