Why do so many people question the wisdom of Uncle Johji? He warns Koga against it exactly because Koga hasn't undergone any hand conditioning, even the normal karate one. I mean, if you want Koga to get fingers that rival Kuroki's in just a month, then sure, why not?

@InedibleSpook he warned the using of fingers thrust in the first place, MOREOVER to someone who didnt do hand conditioning, STILL he question the using of finger thrust

@InedibleSpook
Its like people forgot that shit took an entire life time and full dedication to Martial Arts in order to perfect
Uncle Scar here isn't saying the technique is bad. He is telling someone who clearly can't handle it to NOT cripple themselves
I'm glad the writer did this instead of Koga being a fuckin Fan Fic character and mastering what Kuroki worked his whole life for in like two months tops

How funny would it be if like, 40 chapters from now, Koga actually bites one of his opponents, and it wins him the match, all thanks to Joji?

Kuroki did hand conditioning for his whole martial life, and he's a previous generation master to boot, how long is that? And he still broke his fingers in the matches despite that, imagine how it would be to normal fighters.
Now, on the other hand if Rihito with superhuman fingers actually successfully train his fingers even further...

@Serenata why oh why would you. I was in the middle of eating but ok....

(I hope that after reading this someone else checks that comment too lol)

Koga's match will be against Cosmo, where he'll unleash Cosmo's trauma with biting move 🤪

@samazam
Well, in old days martial arts was created to kill people, so they did not shy away from lethal moves like modern counterparts.
You could see in second panel of page 7, Koga's hand was loosely forming the sword peak. He also said that it isn't competitive karate but classical karate, and he has never learned that kind.
