I'll be honest, everyne is way too based for a plot that is supposed to be semi-realistic. The murder itself should take longer and be more messy, and then the wife should freak out and the father would have to explain everything from the beginning, etc.

It's like... come on, they're normal people living in Japan who probably never even seen a fight before in their life.
