didn't they do this already? im getting some deja vu about her forced engagement and them battling in-game for it to be stopped. is it just me?

@doomer , i think it is just you. previously was for funding. No other force engagement occurred.

@Lusario keep em coming. Thank you again for the subchapter.

Force engagement arcs are getting so dumb now. If they don't set them up right then you end up with a situation that isn't a 'threat' and it's only working because the character is being dumb.

Strange things: all this nepotistic and corrupt but nevertheless top-notch military organisation, think-tank made of the "smartest" inbred imbeciles who play medieval warfare all day. And the strangest of 'em all - who the hell gives them money?
Interesting though how'll mc win the girl for himself? As far as I understood, he is of peasant descent.

Thanks for the translation!

I love the background story and setup here. As, it is not actually that far fetched on paper.

A bunch of historically powerful families fighting over "Think-Tank Money." Which is a mix of mostly government and some private funding. That would make sense, and believable even in the modern era. Heck if Bloomberg or Wall Street Journal ran an article about RAND was paying for and supporting a Tactical Medieval Fighting MMO to do tactics and strategy simulation. I doubt many people would laugh, in fact I am sure many pundits would applaud it as a blending of gaming technology and military strategy.

how is this team so fking dependent on 1 person!!!
Good fking god I hate it when a story becomes full xianxia plot

@greyhud90 Leeching off the one person who knows everything and is getting you wins left and right, seems like the A+ strat for any game.

Good news,

For the next chapters @josua070 has selflessly offered to typeset for me.

Thus lightning my load and bringing some much need quality improvements on that front.

The next subchapter will come out next week.

Stay toned and enjoy your reading.

So... This game is basically made just to inflate the ego those historical military family who found almost no use of their art of war in today's society but can't help to cling to their past glory.

I thought that there is some profound meaning since there is the missing person accident and stuff....
