The Volume 13 special edition that includes OVA1 "Save! Rescue Training" comes with a bonus 51-page "booklet" that contains the original OVA scenario proposal in the style of a manga "name", written and drawn by Kohei Horikoshi, the author of MHA, in case you didn't know. Tweet by official MHA Anime twitter.

U.A. High School must regain the public's confidence after the surprise villain attack during class 1-A's training session. Although some of the teachers were gravely injured in the attack, Izuku "Deku" Midoriya and his classmates must continue to learn and train, and utilize their Quirks in varying environments and circumstances.

This OVA follows class 1-A as they attempt to finally complete their training. However, there's a masked figure roaming around the training center. Have the villains responsible for the previous incident returned to finish the job? If so, are the students ready to fight back?

My Hero Academia: Save! Rescue Training! (救え!救助訓練!) was screened at Jump Festa 2016 on November 27, 2016. The OVA was later bundled with the 13th volume of the manga, released April 4, 2017.

There's some differences between the resulting OVA and this scenario proposal:-

[ul]- Deku's Smash not working and needing Bakugo's explosion to send the villain flying is added in the anime
- Everyone praising Deku's plan, and "Kacchan Sugoi~" are added in the anime
- Uraraka's floating debris accidentally dropping on All Might is removed
- Longer flashbacks of the talk between All Might and Aizawa, as suggested by Horikoshi
- and some minors changes here and there[/ul]

Thus, we think it's still worth to take a look! And if you watched the OVA with fan-made subs, which we found containing many errors, some parts might make more sense now... Anyway, enjoy!

Weird that the OVA never got officially released here.

Gonna have to watch that ova now, thanks, cool to see how it looks originally
