@MangaReader i'm actually very pleased with the lack of romance! Usually in these unwanted female soldier tropes, the girl ends up in trouble and needing rescuing because of her gender despite being uber strong or whatever, and they immediately become super pretty and feminine once a dress is on.

Paulina destroys all of these tropes! She keeps her masculine figure and isn't embarassed to be seen nude / undressed with her fellow soldiers.

The only issue comes from people who are sexest, and of course, the emperor who falls in love with her.
