@Serenata it's been implied for quite some time now that Makima is extremely powerful. Rember how she effortlesslu killed several guys without even seeing them from several kms away, maybe even hundreds of km? Or that time when she was shot point blank to the head by two hitmen and moments later she resuscitated, wiped them out and all she had to say about it was an unfazed "yo some guys attacked us and I took care of them, go clean up the mess".

No wonder Reze didn't stand a chance.

Not entirely sure why this was posted here, but whatevs.

Fate will basically for Powah to be Denji's only option if he ever wants to experience a relationship. I guess from the moment Reze revealed herself, the higher-ups like Makima could already identify who she was and what her deal is...basically I think she was on a suicide mission. (like most characters in this story)
