Uruka, MY favorite girl (but not the best girl) ... I'm happy for you. You won't win by manga reader standards (meaning you won't get the guy *rolls eyes*) but you've already won by my standards. You might be saying ... why has she 'won' when she didn't get the guy? Why are you happy for her since she is clearly going to get rejected and not end up with the boy she has loved for the past 5 years? ... well, it's easy. This girl has finally built up the courage to face the thing that was plaguing her for the longest time. Maybe it was the fact that she will be going away so it won't hurt as much when she is thousands of miles away. Maybe it was a feeling deep inside that 'knew' she would be rejected (it hasn't happened yet but the flags are there as much as we don't want to look at them) and that she would do this at the last minute. But maybe she also finally found her resolve. The courage she has shown in chasing her dream, going to another country, being away from her loved ones is spilling over to her love life.
TLDR ... Courage is not the absence of fear but the will to do what you must in spite of it ... I can't remember who said that first but wiser words have never been spoken. I'm proud of you girl ... now chase that dream.
