Three years have already passed? She says love fades after the 3rd year, but getting past the 1st year is already beating the odds. Hang in there you two, you're adorable!

For those who might misunderstand the context, "love fades after three years" is a popular Japanese saying. In China there's the similar belief that love fades after seven years. The idea is for lovers to get their affairs together (start popping those babies out!) within the time before their affection for each other supposedly ends. Iori is talking about the possibility that they'll drift apart in the future.

Have three years actually passed or is that just odd phrasing? I am quite sure there are still chapters to come with Lori's sister still in high school, who is only a year younger than Minami.

Merry Christmas though and thanks for the chapter.

no it has not been 3 years since this manga begun, its just a saying (that also has basis in psychology but thats irrelevant)
what she means is that saying it not that she loves her is weird because "after 3 years" love will fade away and "she won't love her anymore"

Wait they're lesbians... Why would her back hurt after sex?

Her back hurts...
There are only certain methods and positions that’ll do that.

Arms, hands, jaw... all obvious.
You get into legs and back and you’re getting into tribbing, which is... the best.

@reu ^

The. Best. 💯 😏

Also, she probably said “koshi” which means both “lower back” and “hip(s)”.
Soooo... best.
I’d check, bud I don’t feel like translating kanji rn.

@remiska

I know what she means, but the way it is worded makes it seem they have been together for three years now. Which just doesn't make sense taking into account her sister still being in hghschool even though she was 17 when they first started dating.

I don't like tattoos on women, at least not the ones I'd consider marrying; these must look awful when she gets older. Just fine on the average girl though...

Longitudinal studies on relationship satisfaction shows that while couples' satisfaction tends to regress toward the mean over time, there really aren't any statistically significant moments where results fluctuate. The only big indicators are in relationships that already report low satisfaction early that tend to break up in the first few years.

@Thrembs

The word used was 背中(せなか), which refers to the back, but not any specific part as far as I know.
