1. The ones who translated the bear's name into Swaying Bear and Hugging Bear in the webnovel was the fantranslation team (Xant&Minions), which makes it not official.
2. The ones who decided to use the original Japanese name for the manga was Xant&Minions team themselves.
3. This is purely my preference, but I think names should have been left as they were and not to be translated.

Agreed on not wanting names translated, with maybe one exception being obvious attempts at western names.
(Although seen many such getting rather weird too, like Verdandi for one example getting turned into their "glyphs" then back turning into Belldandy, kinda funny though.)
