... Lol, how could anyone with at least a little brain who read the story miss the fact that Merlin had a thing for Meliodas?! I mean everything else is Bleach level of bullshit, but if that is the part you call an asspull... Well I recommend some rereading.

ok so far ive been really patient with this, i felt like it should have ended with meliodas and elizabeth going to the demon realm, it felt like a proper ending and if they wanted to make a spin-off sequel for the supreme goddess then Arthur could revive and built up from there.
But then they had to save tthe brother and i was like ok it makes sense, i guess this is the final bit before everyone can rest, then fucking escanor died and i was like fucking finally everything is settled but then u throw this fucking love triangle reason, merlin and meliodas relationship always had some mistery but i never imagined it was just love and getting heartbroken so much that suddenly the whole series was planned by Merlin! Its like the author wasnt satisfied with the OG Gowther aizen reveal, its like he wanted more impact and then decided to just keep going...
Granted we had so much stuff still in the air like the whole goddess arc, impaled arthur, hawk's mom and other stuff but that could have been a whole ass side series!

@Miros I´d say this chapter. As for my reasons:
Merlin tried pulling an Eren (and by extension Nakaba tried pullings an Isayama)... the difference here is that he did it within the realm of his world's reason and logic, as everything he did was hinted at during the earlier chapters i.e the title of Attack on Titan´s chapter f*cking 1!
So everything has happened because Merlin developed a huge crush on Meliodas and went full-on Yandere!
You know Nakaba-Sensei, kicking a dead horse is not wrong (Boruto with the whole Ootsutsuki story-line is at least a sequel and not the original story).
Milking a cow to death is also acceptable, when it at least fits into the story, based on previous information somehow (Some Onepiece arcs which overstayed their welcome for incremental pieces of information).
But this chapter is the equivalent of slapping every reader, who tried to keep track of things, in the face while saying "Oh you liked the story? Well, all of it was just part of Merlin´s plan. BTW I made it so you could not know any of it for a grander reveal."
