@BCS: I was gonna immediately refute you at first, with something I've heard about Emmanuel Macron, current French President, but I didn't know their age difference. Only knew that President Macron is married to his high school's teacher.
After Google, voilà! The President is 24 years younger than his spouse! And according to Wiki, they became couple at him 18, her 42. Married at 30-54.
So, I totally hope this manga will go that route too now.

PS: I'm dumbfounded by the difference myself too, actually. Whoa..
