@BlackLantern Hi. I worked on the English version of the digital colour release that you're basing your Spanish release on. I'm sorry to ask, but could you please stop? The group that's been doing it, La Aventura Latina de JoJo, are essentially the LatAm Esp version of our group, JoJo's Colored Adventure, and have even been given our original Photoshop documents to help make their stuff as good as possible. They put out excellent quality releases and we all feel it was kind of rude of you to snipe them, especially as the chapters you did are kind of lacking in quality when it comes to typesetting, no offense. You seem like you're just starting out with scanlating so I'm willing to pass this off as ignorance, but please understand that it's generally not accepted to do something like that. If you want to learn about scanlation, you could try working on a series no one else is touching, or even message the Aventura Latina guys; if you apologize and remove your chapters, I'm sure they'd be cool with letting you work with them. I'm just asking that you at least please remove your chapters as all they'll really do is distract and possibly disappoint a lot of readers due to the big difference in quality, and frankly we don't really like people translating on top of our English version without at least asking, especially if the work frankly isn't that good. Sorry if this comes off as rude or demanding, I'm not trying to be either of those things, I'm just explaining why I don't think that was a very nice thing of you to do. In the end what you do is up to you of course, I can't really stop you even if I want to, but just know that sniping is WAY uncool.

I think they are doing an artruista project for a good cause. The chapters are not horrendous, and I know that experience will make them better. And if it weren't for them, I would have to wait 1 month to read a chapter in my native language. They should give them at least opportunity, as I am sure the community would be grateful. Apart, give their respective credits at the end of each chapter. Take it as a fandom to fandom and let us, those of us who are appearing for the world of jojo´s, enjoy this beautiful part, please.

Sorry for my bad english.

@MistaL Dms are down, our response is
Hello, we have read your comment. We meant no offense and didn't want to cause trouble with this translation. We tried contacting your group to ask for authorization to translate your manga, but we didn't recieve any response. Our intention in creating this group started off because my brother wanted to read part 7 in color, but because he doesn't know English, he couldn't read it. Therefore, I decided to translate the chapters so he could read them. Then I thought it would be a good idea to share this translation with the spanish Jojo's fandom who've wanted to read this part in spanish. That's why we started this project. We are amateurs and starting off, but we've gotten the hang of it and the latest chapters we've done (we're up to chapter 72, but we haven't uploaded them) are of much better quality than our earlier work. If you would like, we can send you a sample of our more recent work. We never meant to offend or bug you guys, on the contrary, we wanted to give back to the Jojo fandom. We're very grateful for La Aventura Latina de Jojo and their great work.

We understand where you're coming from completely, and that's why we've suspended our uploads. Our project is entirely non-profit, we're not clout chasers nor do we look to make any money or fame from this. We just want to give something to the fans, by fans. We have no problem cancelling our project, but we'd like you guys to give us a chance to keep uploading chapters. If you don't want to, then we'll delete our page. We never wanted to disrespect you or aventura latina, nor cause problems. We also never meant to one-up or try to be better than you or aventura latina, we recognize both of you as the gold standard of excellence for translating. We have a lot of respect and look up to your and aventura latina's work and we hope to reach an agreement. We simply want to be a quicker alternative to reading the manga (our goal is to finish the part before the summer)

Again, sorry for any troubles caused, and thanks for your message.

Please contact us to inform us of your decision, thanks.

@BlackLantern

Like I said, I can't really control what you choose to do, but I would like if you'd consider working together with Adventura Latina. You're very quick at finishing chapters, and they're great at keeping up a high standard of quality, so if you two work together I think you could find a great middle ground. It just doesn't sit entirely well with me that someone would be using our English translation as a base when we already have a side-group using our original files for the same purpose. Again, the choice is all yours and I'm not gonna make demands or tell you what to do, I'm just asking that you consider these things.

@MistaL

Hi, we've spoken to la aventura latina de jojo and reached an agreement. We'll stop posting our translations to mangadex and withdrawa our posts to avoid any issues. Like I said, we didn't want to cause any trouble with this project, which is why we're suspending it. We've learned from our mistake and want to do things the right way.

Aventura Latina said we could continue translating if we upload it to a different platform, which is why we wanted to ask you for permission to continue translating SBR on another site where we won't bother anyone. Would you give us your support and authorization to continue our translations on a different site?
