I'm confused, this spin off is should be a prequel, but why Kingsman movie which were wouldn't be released until 2015 is already existed many years before the main timeline that presumably set in the early 2010s. Unless the series is actually taking place in the future.

Only the tanks used in matches are WWI/WWII. The rest (planes, transports and even personal tanks) is modern or can be mordern! So yeah, this is a modern timeline of course but Sensha-do only allows WWI/WWII tanks.
