bro please spend your money wisely. ur girl only need that brooch.

@Aran1 I think what @quanle meant was that wouldn’t whoever bought an item be recognized as the bidder by the other auctioneers as soon as he or she wore it outside, since the items are supposed to be so “unique.”

@Anra7777: Well, this place is probably something of a "what happen in Vegas, stay in Vegas" rule
i.e. everyone who attends is expect to feign ignorance of the items' source even if they ever figure out who got it

You can contact the person in private, but to reveal it in public would likely result in being banned from attending future auctions.

I'm not taking sides or anything but the Duke needs to stop throwing money away like this wtf

Why does everyone have a problem with the Duke? That's kinda how it works when you have a lot of money. You spend without thinking... speaking from personal experience. I mean yeah you need to be wise and save money too but, if you have a lot of money you are expected to spend some to keep the economy going. 🤷‍♀️

I was raised frugal, so this would annoy me. I don't mind people buying expensive jewelry occasionally but this would be too much for me. But by the end of the day the duke ain't real, so he has an unlimited supply of money. Unless the author changes their mine.

So he can throw his money around and what not. Anyway, I am guessing her dad sold the brooch to pay off his debts or something

@Anra7777 good point. was too focused on the masks.

but dont worry i have a solution to that :D you see in ancient made up land no one knows who you are if you hide your eyes so they can just take the mask out with them. like taking 3d glasses out of a theater

Congraaats for your release!! You sure are on fire!!

It's so funny to know his concerns. 😂😂😂

Eh,old aristocracy oh the level of Duke would have millions of acres of farm land and a lot of different businesses. The amount of money they have is enormous.

Lmaoo this entire scene just brought back memories of Hunter X Hunter Yorkney city arc 😂

In a world with a magic system the true value of any item lies way beyond it's looks or materials.

Are we forgetting that they are going to raid the auction house next? Like, who cares how much Duke will pay for those items if he will arrest owner.

Why the fuck is he buying that trashy jewellery? It's an illegal auction, right? From what we know, those things could have been taken by force from the corpses of their previous owners. How romantic.
