My prediction was that everyone would die.

But holy shit I didn't think the author would have the balls to actually kill anyone off, much less more than half of the main cast.

That being said, I don't think Tanjirou is dead. I do think the end of this manga might be coming, though I could easily see a new season set in a near-off future dealing with the power vacuum that Muzan's death just created.
