So hype. Finally Osamu and Chika are the mvps. Fights will be way better now that Chika can shoot (and hopefully isn't pampered all the time).

Mad props to Tsuji as well though. Even in that situation he was totally prepared to get sniped and had both a concentrated shield and a tile ready to block any weaker bullet or lead bullet.

gotta say i still love this series. at least no MC suddenly turning Super Saiyan but instead using what he knows best. of course one could say he's too OP in strategy but i still love how the author includes growth to all these characters. i'll likely revisit this match in future. :3

i like this chapter, i think it like a conclusion with the problem of shooting people.
1. uneasy with shooting people
2. your teammate die with decision you take " to shoot people or not"
3. an order to shoot ( like you know your team need it )
it should be more easy to take action now

consider her age and tactic aspect, i like this approach from author

Finally, that Chika girl stopped being useless :/ That always bugged me in this series : Chika is clearly the person with most potential of all the cast and yet everyone always treated her like a shrinking violet. In a real situation ( remember, this is a war , they are soldiers and all the games we see are simply training exercises ) she would most likely trained to be a tank and sent to the front line ...

That, and Osamu not being a sniper :/ If you have little trion and have a analitical mind, why are you not in a place where you can see the terrain and where you can make the best use of the little trion you have?

Now atleast half of that problem is solved ...

After five years, Chika and Osamu finally got the payoff they deserved. So, so, satisfying.
And after bailing out every round since the second one Osamu FINALLY made it to a victory screen, in mint condition no less. My dude earned it.

I'd like to see Chika learn to use escudo, or better yet get her own custom weapon that takes advantage of her trion capacity (minigun?)

since they are now going to go on missions to other worlds, Kido did say that her immense trion is very important and she'll probably never be sent to the front lines, instead she'll stay back and guard the ship so that her immense trion can help support the ship (which is fueled with trion) to carry all the people back safely to earth.

True enough ... but even then ( and you might argue that exactly because of that ), Chika needs to be taught how to fend for herself if you want the story to make any sense. If she is to be in the last line of defense of the ship ( because she will be in the ship at all times, she will be in ship defense duty by default ), everyone that goes on that expedition depends on her being able to not only fuel the ship, but also to hold the fort while the scout parties are away...
