@Richman Same. I feel like a fever has to be pretty bad for someone to just completely pass out. At the very least I’ve never done it from a cold or flu. I’ve felt tired, but not ”I’m going to pass out while standing and have no control over my body” tired. Manga characters have the worst reactions to illness I’ve ever seen

Manga characters getting high fevers or even collapsing from normal colds is such an used cliche in manga that sometimes i dunno how real that is in Japan, but if its somewhat true, then japanese have shitty immune systems.

Me too, as @icarushector, I only had this feeling of "I'm at my limit, gonna fall down" only twice or th..thrice (?) in my life, and that were very strong fevers. It's rare but it happens
